Tales of the Multiverse

The unnamed moon wasn’t really discovered, it was given a number and catalogued. The moon orbited a gas giant with a similar number in the same catalogue. The unnamed and numbered star the planet orbited was of course plotted long ago. The orbits of the planet and the moon were first plotted by an unmanned probe. The probe concluded - incorrectly - that there was nothing of note in the system. The system was left lonely for several centuries after the probe left.  It wasn’t until a lone starship with engine troubles stopped in the system for maintenance. The ship’s troubles were common and uninteresting. The ship itself was an ordinary transport ship. While the engineering crew fixed the ship a few of the crew landed on the moon for some “fresh air” in their space suits. The three of them explored the moon and found a cave to explore. Ensign Keller was fresh out of the academy on his first tour as an officer of the Twins Ducal Navy. Sandar repeated.  "I want you to look at this and tell me what you think," Jason said as he pulled a screen out of his pocket. He unlocked it and slid it across the bar towards Sandar. Sandar glanced down at the tablet and saw detailed maps showing patrol patterns. He looked quickly back up at the young lord. "Telling me vague descriptions of events which will soon become present knowledge is one thing; that looks like highly classified military data. If you'll recall, I no longer have a clearance." "On this, I am acting with my father's full authority," Jason said, "As such I can share the duchy's classified information at my discretion." The Holy Galactic Empire Episode 01 - Without Warning "Report," Lord Jason ordered Admiral Frey and the other admirals in the room. The four admirals wore dark navy uniforms with gold marks of rank on their shoulders. High Admiral Jacob Frey was the only one in the room with three golden star bursts. His shoulder patch was the golden falcon heraldry of the House of Falklor except instead of a sprig of wheat, the talons of the falcon grasped a missile in either talon. Three small starbursts made a line above the falcon's head. This marked him as commander of the duchy's naval forces. "Three ships attacked and destroyed a small smelting factory in the Saint Paul Outer Asteroid Field," Admiral Frey reported, "Casualties are currently estimated in the low 40s. The Holy Galactic Empire Episode 00 - Retired Honor "Another round?" the bartender asked, after having noted the nearly empty glass. The patron nodded his head in affirmation. The bartender grabbed another glass and expertly poured another round of lager out of the tap. The beer foamed slightly leaving a small layer of white to top of the dark brown. The bartender set down the cold glass in front of the patron and moved on. Besides the patron with a fresh glass of beer, there were only a few other patrons in the small bar. There was a couple talking quietly in one of the booths another lone patron sitting at the other end of the bar. It was midafternoon so four patrons wasn't unusual.
